ABCurry Club Highlights - 23rd November 2023
Last night we held another of our popular ABCurry Clubs, and we are thrilled to share some of the highlights with you. Hosted by the Army Reserve Centre, 101 Regiment in Kingston Park, it was an evening of enthusiasm and warmth. As attendees arrived, the venue buzzed with excitement, setting the stage for an unforgettable night. The event was a testament to the vibrant community spirit and the commitment to supporting our armed forces.
Armed Forces Covenant Signings:
One of the standout moments of the evening was witnessing nine attendees sign the Armed Forces Covenant. The Armed Forces Covenant is a commitment by businesses to provide support and recognition to our Armed Forces. It was a powerful display of solidarity and a tangible commitment to supporting those who serve our country. This was especially meaningful to us as ABC is proudly a gold signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and our Chairman serves as the Honorary Colonel at the 101 Regiment. His dedication and connection to the armed forces community added a special significance to the evening. Delicious Curry and Culinary Delight:
As always, the highlight of the evening was the a delightful spread of Punjabi curry, a culinary journey that added a flavourful touch to the networking experience. Attendees enjoyed a selection of dishes from dahl, to butter chicken and fish pakoras, creating a shared experience that brought everyone together.
Networking and Connections:
The ABCurry Club is not only about delicious food but also a platform for meaningful connections. Attendees, representing diverse industries and backgrounds, engaged in enriching conversations, fostering new connections that go beyond the event. The presence of attendee, whether they signed the covenant or not, contributed to the success of the evening and to our mission to connect, support and promote communities across the North East.
Thank you to everyone who joined us last night, and we look forward to seeing you all at future ABCurry Clubs.
